​​Artist's Statement

The concepts of my work are images that surround me in my personal world and in nature. Through the process of creating, these images take on a life of their own. A preconceived idea becomes an ever changing thought and, as I work, it becomes its own statement whether it is based on a still life, the figure, or images inspired by nature.
